THRS, the fastest public transport in Taiwan, can reach a maximum speed of 300 km/hr.
It is a very convenient option for people who need to commute between the North and South of the island, taking only 1 hour and 25 minutes.
However, it should be noted that the price is not very cheap, with a one-way ticket from Taipei to Zuoying (Kaohsiung) costing NT$1445 or about US$49 for non-reserved seats.
