In rencent years, physician-patient relationship are widely discussed, medical environment friendly and patient friendly are more attention abroad. However Taiwan’s medical environment for medical friendly and patient friendly are less than abroad. Environment can be cure, it may affect people’s emotion even patient’s condition. Medical friendly has lots of literature, but few for consultation room, in the research, we focus on consultation room as the research place.

This research use interpersonal distance, social support and compensatory behaviors as independent variable, the research use experimentation to go on, participants are Tung-Hai University’s student, the study has eight context. Use PANA’s Scale and medical SERVQUAL scale. Trying to improve these interpersonal factors can improve patient’s positive affect, reduce patient’s negative affect.

The experimental manipulation consists of the following: First of all, Interpersonal distance, actor need to give more eye-contact. Second, social support, Seeing doctor has accompanied by friends or family. Last of all, compensatory behaviors: Hide the equipment in the consultation room.

The research concluded that interpersonal distance has significant positive affect. Social support has significant negative affect. Social support also have significant effect on assurance and empathy. compensatory behaviors has significant effect on Reliability and Tangibles. The research result can be used as medical friendly practice consultation for Taiwan medical and friendly environment make a contribution.
