Eliyana, S.Ak (Ya-Ting Tsen) have graduated from Department of Economics, Accounting Education Study Program, Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB), Indonesia. Currently, Eliyana, S.Ak is a postgraduate in Department of Business Administration at Tunghai University. Since 2018, Eliyana, S.Ak join and as a member of Center for Healing Environment Administration and Research (HEAR), Tunghai University under the leadership of Dr. Ying-Chyi Chou. The aims of this organization is to develop a systematic healing environment model that can help to reduce the working environment pressure and improve life quality of the people.
Environment has been known may impact health and influence behaviors, actions, interaction between patients, their families, and healthcare staff. With environment care can reduce the burden of disease and shorten healing time across multiple medical conditions. The healing also influence patients’ family and healthcare staff or other care giver by reduce their stress, anxiety, fatigue and minimize error. The built environment can enhance the privacy, comfort, and control.
Eliyana, S.Ak research focuses on how to design of the physical environment in nursing home and aim to receive optimal healing environment. In recent years, the research about effect of the physical environment on the healing process and well-being have proved to be increasingly relevant for patients and their families and as well as for healthcare staff. Eliyana, S.Ak try to find out the best healing spaces of the physical in indoor environment. The research investigates and structures the scientific research on an evidence based design (EBD) which EBD has become the theoretical concept for what are called healing environment.
