課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents)
課程目標:精進有機化學的理論與實務運用的能力,使學生修習後能對有機化學知識加廣加深,進入產業界及學術界後,有能力從事高階研究與創新發展之事業。
課程內涵:本課程延續基礎有機化學內涵,著重在化學結構的認識,並利用基本物理原理解釋化學反應之變化。課程內容共分八章,將從化學鍵結與結構開始介紹,接著介紹各種類型之反應中間體,認識多變化之化學反應,第3、4章介紹光化學反應及沒有中間體的協同反應,第五章介紹雜環化合物及常見之生物鹼,第六張介紹有機硼、有機矽、有機錫等化合物在有機反應中的角色,第七章則介紹有機聚合物的合成及可生物分解的聚合物。最後一章介紹碳水化合物和氨基酸的結構和化學反應。

Objectives of the course:
To improve the ability to apply the theory and practice of organic chemistry, so that students can broaden and deepen the knowledge of organic chemistry after learning, and have the ability to engage in high-level research and innovative development after entering the industry and academia.
Course connotation:
This course continues the connotation of basic organic chemistry, focusing on the understanding of chemical structure, and using basic physical principles to explain the changes of chemical reactions. The content of the course is divided into eight chapters. It will start with the introduction of chemical bonding and structure, and then introduce various types of reaction intermediates to understand the variety of chemical reactions. Chapters 3 and 4 introduce photochemical reactions and synergistic reactions without intermediates. Chapter 5 introduces heterocyclic compounds and common alkaloids, chapter 6 introduces the role of organoboron, organosilicon, organotin and other compounds in organic reactions, and chapter 7 introduces the synthesis of organic polymers and biodegradable polymers . The final chapter covers the structure and chemical reactions of carbohydrates and amino acids.
