1. Objectives of the course:
The objectives of this course include the introduction of the chemistry of solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), the laboratory techniques in SPPS, purification and characterization of peptides, biological assays of peptides, structure-activity relationships of peptides, and applications of functional peptides.
2. Contents of the course:
The contents of this course include the following topics:
(1) The Chemistry of Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS)
(2) Laboratory Techniques in SPPS
(3) Purification of Peptides
(4) Bioanalytical Techniques
(5) Structure-Activity Relationships Studies of Peptides
