課程概述(系所共同性目標) Course Description
基本勞作教育是本校於民國44年創校即設立的制度,其創始理念,在使學生於正課外,尚能獲得有關勞作的教育價值。因在勞作過程中,不僅能使學生瞭解勞作尊嚴與稼穡維艱之真意,體驗手腦並重與人格平等之真諦,且可養成負責、守時、勤勞、合作、誠實、服務諸美德。甚至畢業後,即能運用此種美德於實際生活,進而教導他人,影響社會。隨著時代的演變,基本勞作教育雖然在作法上有不小的改變,不過其精神仍與創校時無異。以下簡單說明勞作時間與區域規劃的原則。
勞作時間規劃
每學期之基本勞作分為四期,每期約為一個月。勞作時間為每週一至週五,每天30分鐘,有早午兩個時段。期中、期末考期間勞作仍照常實施。
跨系且男女混合編組
每一個勞作區域內至少分配四個系以上的學生,並且除了男、女生宿舍,以及比較偏遠的區域外,其餘區域採取男女混和編組的方式。如此可讓學生能接觸到不同科系、領域及異性的機會,對於學習人際關係中該有的容忍與體諒會有幫助;而勞作區域內輕重難易不等的事務,需要不同生理特質的人來完成,男女混和編組可以適度解決這樣的問題。
四期分配不同區域
四期分配不同的勞作區域最大的好處,應該是打破了學生僅僅往返於宿舍與教室的固定路線,每次分配到的陌生環境可以降低學生的厭倦感,使學生更熟悉校園環境,而透過親身的參與清潔打掃,則可以增加學生對校園的情感。
Course Description:
Basic labor education is a system established by this school in 1955, and its founding philosophy is that students can still obtain the educational value of labor outside the regular classroom.Because in the process of work, students can not only understand the true meaning of the dignity of work and hardship, experience the true meaning of equal emphasis on hand and brain and equality of personality, but also cultivate the virtues of responsibility, punctuality, diligence, cooperation, honesty and service. Even after graduation, they can use this virtue in real life, and then teach others and influence society. With the evolution of the times, although the practice of basic labor education has changed considerably, its spirit is still the same as when the school was founded. The following is a brief explanation of the principles of working hours and regional planning.
Work time planning :
The basic work of each semester is divided into four sessions, each of which is about one month. The working hours are 30 minutes a day from Monday to Friday, with two periods of morning and lunch. Work during the midterm and final examinations will continue as usual.
Cross-departmental and mixed-gender grouping:
At least four or more students are assigned to each work area, and with the exception of male and female dormitories and more remote areas, the rest of the areas are mixed with men and women. In this way, students can be exposed to different departments, fields and opportunities of the opposite sex, which will help to learn tolerance and understanding in interpersonal relationships.The affairs of varying severity and difficulty in the work area need to be completed by people with different physiological characteristics, and mixed gender marshalling can appropriately solve such problems.
Four phases are allocated to different regions:
The biggest advantage of assigning different work areas in the four phases should be to break the fixed route of students only going to and from the dormitory and the classroom, and the unfamiliar environment assigned each time can reduce students' boredom and make students more familiar with the campus environment, and through hands-on participation in cleaning, students can increase their emotions about the campus.
