Helps the community with a variety of issues, focusing on those who are low income. We hold clothing and food drives, provides free medical services, legal advice and various other types of assistance. Eastern Service Workers is a great organization for someone who doesn't have a lot of volunteering experience. They are able to train and onboard volunteers quickly and easily and they work on weekdays, weeknights and weekends. They will train people to advocates and canvassers.

Founded in 1972, Long Beach Island Community Center, Inc. (LBICC), known as St. Francis Community Center, offers a wide variety of services and programs aimed at meeting the needs of residents of Ocean County, regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, religious affiliation, handicapping condition or socioeconomic status. Services offered include: Preschool; Senior Center; Aquatic Center; Counseling Center; Family Support Services, Youth Program; Educational Support Services; Recreation Program; Volunteer Program and many Special Events.

Brief Description of Organization
The SCCESL offers free, in-person naturalization classes on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Scarpa Academic Center on the Atlantic City campus. Class materials are provided by the Community Relations Officer of USCIS Newark District, and also derived from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Website, under Citizenship Resource Center, at www.uscis.gov/citizenship.
