Choice Boards are a fantastic way to offer a UDL and Tech Integration approach for students.
Check out this example entitled "Writer's Choice Board" to use with students after they have completed the task of writing their own story.
This can align with Grade 4-6 ELA outcome: "Students will be expected to create text, independently and collaboratively, using a variety of types of writing for a range of audiences and purposes."
Hyperdocs are a great way to lay out information for students to move at their own pace and build their understanding around a topic. This example is examining the dairy industry in Canada.
A hyperdoc is also a great tool when online learning is taking place. Due to a variety of reasons at home, this can be a very flexible option for students and for families. Despite labels on the side with days of the week for this example, you can make necessary arrangements for your student to complete according to their situation.
Hyperdoc templates are free to edit on a variety of sites, a few of which are referenced within the Resources page of this Google site.
Hyperdocs can be used for any level of learner, including those with special needs (which this example was created for).
Short, instructional media can be helpful for students at any age. Here is an example of a hand washing video to show students at the beginning of the school year to reinforce good hand washing practices.
