I provide one-on-one support to students developing job search skills, such as resume building, interview prep, and more.
I use current Labour Market Information to help students explore post-secondary options that match up with their interests and skills!
I help students explore trades pathway options, especially in areas of growing demand in Nova Scotia.
I provide one-on-one sessions for all interested students to support career exploration and direct entry into the workforce.
The Career & Employment Support program helps students explore career opportunities, develop workplace skills, and make informed decisions about their future pathways. Through personalized one-on-one support, students can access career exploration, labour market information, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, networking strategies, job search assistance, and workplace readiness training. Support is also available for students considering post-secondary education, apprenticeship programs, skilled trades, or direct entry into the workforce.
Students are encouraged to access support at any stage of their career journey, whether they are exploring options, preparing for employment, or planning their next steps after graduation. In addition to individualized career exploration, students can participate in workshops, guest speaker presentations, career-focused events, and experiential learning opportunities that connect their interests, strengths, and goals with real-world career pathways.
Families are also welcome to access career planning resources, labour market information, and educational workshops designed to support informed career decision-making. Through collaboration with educators, employers, community organizations, and employment service providers, students gain the knowledge, confidence, and connections needed to successfully transition to further education, apprenticeship training, meaningful employment, and long-term career success.
