As per the Nova Scotia Education Act, the Nova Scotia Education Common Services Bureau administers pension and employee benefits plans for individuals employed by education entities. The NSECSB benefits plan has approximately 3,000 members and an annual premium of approximately $6 million.
The NSECSB benefits plan is administered by Johnson Insurance, and offers education entity employees a variety of services and benefits.
