Employee Benefits

As per the Nova Scotia Education Act, the Nova Scotia Education Common Services Bureau administers pension and employee benefits plans for individuals employed by education entities. The NSECSB benefits plan has approximately 3,000 members and an annual premium of approximately $6 million.

The NSECSB benefits plan is administered by Johnson Insurance, and offers education entity employees a variety of services and benefits. If you are a member of the Employee Benefits Plan, click here to access the Johnson Insurance Members Only website for information on your coverage. The plan underwriter is Medavie Blue Cross, and to access their member website, click here.
