New Germany Elementary School

Late Bus

RTE 286 driven by George Carroll serving New Germany Elementary School and New Germany Rural High School is running 15 minutes late this afternoon, September 12/24.

Important Changes

Just one more sleep until the first day of school! We're incredibly excited to kick off the new school year and welcome our students back. It was wonderful to see so many students and parents today.

As we prepare for tomorrow, here are a few important changes:

Dismissal: Student pick-up at the end of the day, will be at the same location as morning drop-offs at 2:50 pm. Students will no longer be picked up at the back gym door. Bus dismissal will be at 2:55 pm.

Cell phone: With the new cell phone directive, students must turn off their phones and store them for the day in their bookbags before getting off the bus. Cell phones must stay in bookbags until students are on their buses. Bus transportation is an extension of the school day and is subject to the Provincial Code of Conduct Policy. Personal use of mobile devices while waiting for or riding the bus must align with the expectations. Students may not record or take pictures while on the bus.

We can't wait to see everyone bright and early for the first day!
