At Home Learning

Yesterday, the announcement from the province was that students would do online learning from Monday, January 10-14. NRCS teachers and staff are pivoting to make that happen as it requires some planning and execution.

We are currently looking at the provincial ‘At Home Learning’ document to schedule appropriate synchronous and asynchronous learning times for all students in grades.

Teachers will be contacting you with further details regarding when and how online learning will work for their students and send the necessary information so your child can get connected. Please monitor your email for further information. Please check your junk mail as well just in case it gets redirected.

There is a need to distribute some material for students to use while they are home for the week. So we are scheduling a pick up for Monday, January 10th. Pick up will be in the bus loop and teachers will distribute the necessary material and/or equipment to you at the following scheduled time. Pick up will be between the hours of 1-2:30 pm, Monday for all Grades from PP-8.

If you have any questions please feel free to call the school at 902-689-6100.

Thank you!

Once again, NRCS will be collecting food cans to donate to the Food Bank. Of course, before we do that, we will have our annual food can rolling competition in the gym. Each class will compete and send two representatives to our final school-wide competition on December 21st.

If you can, please have your child bring in a food can so we can let the competitions and the kindness begin.
