answers to these questions
Why do you want to volunteer?
Tell me a bit about any chores or responsibilities you have at home.
Is there something specific you want to do? I am interested in your ideas
and how you think you can help make our library better.
You may write, type, record, or video your answers, then email or share your answers to me - mdey@gnspes.ca subject: volunteering
Everyone who applies will be invited to do an interview with me.
I select student volunteers based on
how prepared you are for your interview and
the skills you can demonstrate for me in examples of things you have done
Not everyone who applies will get a position.
I hope you will try.
It takes work, time, and a lot of courage to apply when you know there is a chance you may not get a position. It is an experience that will teach you many skills you will use for the rest of your life though, so it is a valuable experience for you to try. Doing an interview is another useful experience for you too.
