Hi There!

I'm Ms. Johnston, an English and Social Studies teacher at Clayton Park junior high school in Halifax, NS.

I am in my 5th year of teaching and have recently completed a Master's of Education in Technology Integration; a degree which has only further supported my enthusiasm for utilizing technology in the classroom!

I am passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment where each of my students feels supported, accepted and able to be themselves.

Outside of the classroom I spend most of my time a coaching or playing volleyball, travelling and spending time with my family & friends.

I absolutely love my job and feel so lucky to teach, learn, and laugh with such incredible kids each and every day!
