Student Expectations

Arrive prepared with proper PE clothing and footwear. (Sneakers, comfortable pants (not jeans), comfortable shirt)

Show respect for self, others, and others’ property including equipment.

Assessment and Evaluation

The following will be used to provide a mark for Physical Education class:

Nova Scotia's Physical Education Curriculum, which includes:

    • health related physical fitness
    • persistence and effort
    • dance
    • educational gymnastics
    • game play
    • alternative environments (outdoor ed)
    • communication and interpersonal skills
    • compassion and care for self and others
    • fair play

How can you help?

Encourage healthy living by setting a great example. Being active, and eating healthy.

Encourage your child(ren) to participate to the best of their ability during physical education class.
