Year 11 GCSE Art, Craft & Design: Students have been working on a range of methods to explore the component 2 exam project. The outcomes will be exhibited at the end of year. show. Each student has been able to showcase an undeniable ability to create outcomes that go beyond the obvious.
Year 10 GCSE Art, Craft & Design: Students have began to explore their own subthemes. With exciting results, thus far. The outcomes will be exhibited at the end of year show.
Year 9: Students are in the middle of creating responses to the artist Shepard Fairey, below are just a few of the wonderful examples that have developed so far. Students learnt about his work and how it has influenced the modern world.
Year 8: Students re-visited their stylized eye creations, followed by exploring how to draw the nose, mouth. Students will eventually be creating a self portrait or portrait, the photos shown below do not do the work justice.
Year 7: Students explored the work of William Morris by stylizing natural forms into their own designs. Below is just a fraction of the talent showcased this year .
