A huge well done to 2AR for completing another year at NPS!

Data Collecting
In Maths pupils completed a tally chart asking their friends what their favourite colour, fruit and pet was. They used their tally chart data to draw a block diagram. It was lovely to see the children participating in this activity and sharing their answers with each other.
FOOD TASTING!
In DT, 2AR had a fantastic food tasting session. Pupils enjoyed taking part and trying different types of food such as peppers, hummus, cheese and cucumber. Pupils described the texture and taste using exciting adjectives such as crunchy, juicy and creamy. This was a fun experience for the class and together they worked incredibly well as a team!
2AR had a marvellous time at Hobbledown Heath. Pupils explored the barn with farm and zoo animals and had the chance to ask interesting questions as part of their guided tour experience. Children thoroughly enjoyed the giant outdoor playground areas which included The Mining Village, Wilderness Wood and Cribble Creek. It was an extraordinary day out for kids and a trip the class will never forget!
NPS Art Exhibition
Our Paris Olympics themed Art Exhibition was such a huge success!
Our pupils worked creatively to produce clay sculptures based on the sports of boxing and running. 2AR also used junk materials to create athletes performing different sports.

We had the great opportunity to visit the GNSA library again this term.
They enjoyed searching around the library for the perfect book to sit down and read. It is very important for the children to continue reading throughout the summer holidays!

Our pupils made the most delicious healthy wraps in our cooking room.
2AR had a fabulous time and we even had a class taste test at the end!
Olympics Workshop!
Our pupils had a super fun time during their olympics workshop!
They participated in a range of sports such as shooting, long jump, boxing and blind football.
