The last week of school... the closing of one door and the opening of another. 

We are very proud of Year 1's progress and how they have matured over the year. Each of them comes in with a smile every day ready to learn. We have had a very busy term which started with a Phonics Screening check to lots of extracurricular activities to transition into Year 2.

Congratulations to all Year 1 pupils who completed their Phonics Screening Check earlier this half term and did amazingly well - as expected! We are extremely proud of every child and the efforts and progress they have made.

We would like to give a special thanks to all parents and siblings who supported the pupils in practising their sounds and reading the practice words each week at home. 

All pupils have worked hard and the results show that they couldn't have done better! Remember to keep up the hard work and continue reading as much as possible over the summer holidays!
