Well done to all children for completing another year at NPS, we are all so proud of each and every one of you!
Parents, please take some time to talk with your children about how they are feeling about transitioning to a new classroom with a new teacher as it can seem daunting for some and it is OK to feel that way, but a simple chat with some reassurance could be all they need. During the summer break, we hope parents and children have a well deserved break and enjoy family time for a fresh start in September. Stay safe, remember to be grateful for each day and continue to spread kindness! Have a fantastic summer break!

Children's eating schedules can become out of routine in the holidays, so take some time to plan the day with your children as boredom can play a crucial role in them wanting to snack all day long. These snacks may not always be a healthy option so think about having a daily schedule with healthy snacks on hand to manage these moments whilst also having some time for yourselves.
During the summer holidays, children may not stick to their daily routines such as brushing their teeth twice a day and this must be consistent to ensure they continue to keep healthy habits to promote good dental hygiene and oral health. A reminder to encourage your children to continue with these routines.
As part of our 'Keeping Safe' topic in PSHE, pupils had a special assembly led by a representative from the NSPCC to talk about the importance of speaking out to stay safe. Pupils' were given a 'Buddy Kit' activity book to record information about what makes us safe and happy and to also write down names of safe adults that we can go to if we are worried or upset about something.
