NPS Summer 2 - Reception Highlights

Wow! What fun RKJ have had learning with our Fantasy topic - from astronauts to pirates. It was great to have the dads and grandads celebrate Father's Day with us during our pirate morning and all family members got together to celebrate fairy tales with us. The whole term has been one great adventure and the pupils of RKJ are the 'superstars.'

We have been to the moon and back with Baby Bear. We learn about planets and life as an astronaut.

We were very busy in our space centre, making rockets and watching fizzing planets.

Yo!Ho!Ho! What swashbuckling fun we have had, being pirates hunting for treasure through lagoons and gushing waterfalls. We even had some dads and grandads join in our pirate fun.

Classic Fairytales ignite children's imagination and love for stories. We have had Traditional Tales and classic Fairytales throughout the year and wanted to celebrate them. Thank you for attending our Fairytale event and our little Princes and Princess looked magical on the day, feasting at the banquet and attending a ball.

We have been busy being palaeontologists and learning about Dinosaurs. We loved talking about having a dinosaur as a pet and where we would go with it. Come visit our Dino cafe - what delicious food do you think we serve?

We learnt so many facts about these amazing prehistoric creatures.

Exlpore learning came to visit us for a maths workshop. They were impressed by our number skills.

What fun we had at Odds Far from tractor rides to feeding the goats, bottle feeding the kids and petting the rabbits. A glorious day that everyone still talks about. Please look on Tapestry for more photographs.
