In Science, Year 1 pupils have been exploring their senses. Through a range of practical activities, pupils had the opportunity to use and apply their sense of touch, sight, taste, sound and smell.

In order to explore a range of textures, pupils went on a 'touch hunt.' This involved finding objects that were hard, soft, bendy, cold, sharp, rough, etc. Pupils did a terrific job in finding and describing the objects using their sight and sense of touch. The tasting session was definitely an experience to remember.....from lemons, to honey, it definitely got our smell and taste buds going!
