YEAR 1 LADYBIRD HUNT
To bring our new English text to life, both Year 1 classes decided to go on an outdoor mini-beast adventure to find ladybirds. They wrapped up warm and had their mini-beast checklists at the ready ready! Although they didn't spot 'The Bad Tempered Ladybird' on their walk, the story was definitely a hit!
RECEPTION LISTENING WALK
Both Reception classes ventured out to Minet Park on a Listening Walk. They had their big ears at the ready to listen for environmental sounds as part of their learning for Phase 1 phonics. They enjoyed exploring and discussing a range of environmental sounds which they shared with us all upon their return.
