Double Door Project Scope - Install interior security door leading from the lobby to the great room of Hillcrest Elementary school.  Door must be designed so persons can enter the lobby/ vestibule and speak to the office personnel through a window or camera & intercom system.  Custom door frame construction required. Door frame is desired to have a side view panel and a 42” door.  The rough opening where the door will be installed is 85 ¼” high x 62 3/4”.  The new door will have a right-hand outswing. The new door will work with an electronic latch release device that can be electronically released by the receptionist via the existing camera monitor system, and will resecure automatically after 5 second.  The door will also automatically release in the event of a fire alarm. The door hardware will be an electronic latch style with a panic bar on the inside.  The door cylinder hardware must be able to work with the district’s existing Yale key hardware.
