Welcome to Mrs. Troy's science class. Comprehensive science is designed to engage students in a multitude of science disciplines. Students will learn scientific concepts from chemistry, physics, geology, and biology. Students will be given opportunities to learn about innovation and current events in the scientific community. Students will be required to work in teams to complete lab experiments and group projects.

The goals of this course are to help students understand the nature of science and why science is useful in their lives, as well as, develop skills for collaborating in groups. It is my hope that students will leave this class with a better understanding of science and have gained collaboration skills that will help them in their future.
