Welcome to Mrs. Sutor's Middle School
English Language Arts Class!
In this class students will be further developing their skills in grammar, writing, vocabulary, and literature. During this class, students will focus on enhancing their composition, comprehension, and critical thinking skills. These skills will help students to do their very best on the Florida State Assessment (FSA) as well as in their other classes.
Students are expected to be an active participant in their learning. They are expected to come to class everyday with the understanding that we will be working hard, but will also be having fun along the way. Additionally, students will be responsible for doing their part by participating in class, following the classroom (and school) expectations, and procedures.
It is my intention to provide students with a safe and welcoming learning environment, in which they will be able to foster their creativity, share ideas, work on their learning goals, and cultivate their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
I encourage all parents to communicate with their student and all of their teachers. Communication and collaboration will help facilitate the student’s goals and provide continuous support for each individual.
This year student's will be doing a lot of work online using Google Classroom and various programs to enhance their reading and writing skills.

- After you are signed in, go to google.classroom.com
- Click the "+" button in the top right corner
