I am repeating all the codes since so many are not getting the emails or reading through the updates on this page. Please make sure you have signed up for your class in all 3 listed below. Also make sure you have done your assigned quiz on Khan Academy. After you join, I have to accept, and then it will allow you to access you quiz. Please feel free to use the hints and take it again if you don't earn 100%. The whole point is to learn. Also, make sure you have downloaded Google Chrome on whatever device you are planning to stream our Google Meet tomorrow. Precalc is at 11:00, Geometry at 12:00 and Algebra 2 at 1:00. I will be sending the link through remind right before the meeting starts. All you have to do if you have Google Chrome downloaded is click the link I send you. Please do what you can to join. Keep up with you planner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The feedback on the Khan Academy quizzes have been all positive. So we will probably keep using this as a resource. Please don't forget to take the quiz that has been assigned to you if you haven't done that yet. Use their videos and hint buttons as much as you want to help you learn as much as you can! Please understand that Khan Academy does not send me a notification when someone joins, and I need to accept you before you can see the quiz assigned to you. I go on and update/accept each hour. So don't panic if you just signed up and can't find the quiz. It will be there soon!

Please check your email address in Skyward. We have been having issues with some students not getting the emails through Skyward. We are going to try remind instead. Please sign up ASAP. Text your code to 81010

Please join our Google Classroom and Khan Academy accounts so you can take your first quiz. It's on material we have already done. It isn't meant to be hard. It's purpose is to let you try out testing on Khan Academy. They have videos on EVERY topic. If you are not familiar with the site, please look around and check out some videos. After you are done with your assigned quiz, send me an email and let me know what you think. I know nothing is going to be perfect, but we just need to try to get it as close to that as possible.

I am looking into Google Meet and Zoom so we can communicate face to face soon. If you have any experience with either, add your opinion about them in your email as well.

The third thing I would like your opinion on is your homework. What are your thoughts about still doing the regular assignments but just the odd ones so you can check them? We can meet through Google or Zoom to go over anything you are confused on. Then at the end of each chapter, you can send photos of them all to me for your homework grade. I love the convenience of online. However, your book has many good questions that will prepare you for the SAT and ACT.

For Geometry and Alg 2 - You were issued 2 books at the beginning of the school year. One of the books we have been using for your homework assignments. The other one (Big Ideas) was just an extra resource. However, it's looking like the Big Ideas has way more online resources since it is a much newer book. So try to find it in your room since some of you might not have seen it since August! Also, please email me if you have any ideas. I am trying to get this all sorted out over spring break so we are ready on the 30th.

PS - There are still 5 Geometry students that have still not taken the AIMS. This is a grade in Skyward for the 3rd 9 weeks.

There are still 6 Geometry students that haven't taken the AIMS online for the 3rd 9 weeks. Please do ASAP. If you are one of these 6 Geo and take it after 12:20 pm today, please email me once it's done. I will then log on to School Spire and update your grade. Grades are updated for everyone in all classes.

Everyone - please remind each other to check this site for updates. There are quite a few email addresses for students that are not updated and quite a few students that don't check their emails. We have to communicate with each other through all of this until this runs like a well-oiled machine.

Geometry students - don't forget today is the 3rd quarter AIMS!!!! You can still take it at home.

Students log in using Active Directory (AD) and password.

From the student dashboard, select the EduTone icon.

Login to EduTone using Active Directory (AD) and password, then select the SchoolSpire icon.

You should be either at the test login screen, or already at the test screen. If at the School Spire login screen, login again using Active Directory (AD) and password.

Once at the test screen, select view test.

Select the 3rd quarter AIMS, and good luck!

If you have any issues, Dr. Becker said to email her at beckermk@gm.sbac.edu and she will help you log in.

I am so sorry that we are going through all of this right now, but let's try to make the best of a bad situation. Right now, please check Skyward and make sure it all looks correct. If there are any issues, please e-mail me right away. I can fix it until March 31st. All the points for participation and team have gone in as of today. If anyone has more tutoring hours or homework they missed from being absent, please e-mail me a picture of it so I can update the grades. Please keep checking this site with my notes on the home page as well as your classes schedule and assignments. We should be going online with instruction after break. Again, please e-mail me at any time. We will figure this out!

Alg 2 - 11.10 has been deleted and will go into the 4th 9 weeks.

Geo - waiting to hear back if you can still take the AIMS but take it from home instead. So stay tuned!
