WELCOME!!

My name is Lisi Osborne and I am SO excited to begin my 16th year at W. W. Irby Elementary School and my 30th year of teaching.

It is my absolute pleasure to be your child's teacher this year. My teaching philosophy is that "every child can learn". I believe that you must get into a child's heart before you can get into their mind. It is my daily mission to instill the love of learning into each and every one of my students. I am dedicated to making your child feel safe and loved so that they can perform to their fullest potential. I look forward to working closely together with you throughout the school year. Together, we will ensure that your child will have a successful first grade year. TOGETHER, will achieve more.

This fall, we are fortunate to have a full time intern from the University of Florida "Pro Teach"program. Ms. Julia Bass will be team teaching with me in your child's classroom until December.
