Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. Our chapter and the more than 16,000 chapters in schools across the nation strive to give practical meaning to the Society’s standards of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

The members of Eastside's NHS are outstanding students who work hard not only in the classroom but also in the community as they volunteer in NHS Service Projects and Personal Service Projects throughout the year. Their leadership, service, and character are evident as they serve the needs of the people of our community. While membership is indeed an honor, it is also a responsibility and an obligation to demonstrate those outstanding qualities that resulted in selection.
