The primary goal of the lab is to develop and apply advanced statistical methodologies for causal inference, particularly in complex data settings such as survival analysis, longitudinal data, semi-competing and competing risks data. Our research aims to:
Innovate unsupervised model selection techniques for causal analysis, addressing challenges in data with multiple events and time-to-event outcomes.
Apply causal mediation analysis to explore and quantify the direct and indirect effects in various fields, including health sciences.
Provide rigorous methods for analyzing data with left truncation, competing risks, and semicompeting risks, ensuring accurate inferences and real-world applicability.
Integrate statistical models with real-world data to enhance understanding of causal relationships, especially in areas like epidemiology, public health, and medicine.
