Ambassador Yecenia Parrilla
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Yecenia Parrilla gained international experience though her studies as an exchange student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA and as an International student at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland and the University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands. Currently, she lives in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
Ambassador Yecenia Parrilla is interested in people and planet Earth, culture and global diversity, heritage and memory, human dignity and global stability, culture driven innovation, technology driven innovation, research and development in humanitarian endeavors and green building technologies.
She serves as Goodwill Ambassador and Membership Director at Globcal International, belonging to its goodwill, cultural and social media professional diplomats and influencers network. As such, she promotes human/nature rights, humanitarian, ecological, cultural, economic and civil action projects/initiatives aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. She is a registered global citizen, certified by Globcal's Global Citizenship Registry in Sweden. She is also the Founding President and CEO of the Institute for Global Culture(s).
