The Drowsy Chaperone

While maintaining safe social distancing procedures, students at Goochland High School have been rehearsing in person for our upcoming spring show, The Drowsy Chaperone.

Opening on Broadway in 2006, The Drowsy Chaperone is an upbeat comedy where a man in a chair puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of the fictitious 1928 musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. As the record plays, the musical comes to life inside the man's apartment.

We hope you join us for this streaming event! The stream will take place on the platform ShowTix4U on May 14th and 15th at 7 PM and May 16th at 2 PM.

The stream costs $10 per household and $1 for GCPS employees. We will also be accepting donations. A portion of our donations will be going toward our annual Will Sompayrac Memorial Scholarship.
