In trimester 2, we are focusing on non-fiction skills. Students will be reading non-fiction independent reading books with time to read in class! 

In addition, we will be working through Writing Workshop to write am informational piece on an influential person. 

I also encourage students to read in their independent reading book for 30 minutes each night. 

We will also continue work on our monthy Word Parts! 

Moving forward  we will be studying

-The War of 1812

-Andrew Jackson (The Indian Removal Act)
