Welcome to World Cultures and Geography!

Our young geographers are finishing our first project of the year on using the 5 Themes of Geography, creating an event in Chicago and showing how the 5 Themes would apply to their planning. Afterward, we will continue their first unit on geographers' tools and how we will look at the world this year. In our first unit, students will learn more about various types of maps and their uses. You will also see how geographers divide Earth into regions so that they can identify patterns and better understand our world.
