The Great War

This past week our young historians just finished our unit on the Roaring Twenties and are moving into our last unit before winter break, The Great Depression. We will be covering the stock market crash, what life was like for different groups of people during the depression, and FDR's response. Students will be creating a vignette as if they lived during this time period and what they did to make ends meet. Students will have a summative assessment the Thursday before winter break. We will also be watching clips from the movie Cinderella Man so students have a better understanding of life at this time.
