Students have had a terrific start in Chapter 1: Solving Equations. The skills we’ll focus on in this unit include solving multi-step equations with variables on both sides, rewriting and using literal equations and formulas, solving absolute value equations, and solving complex proportions. Students will take the Chapter 1 Test on Tuesday, September 15th. 

Our next unit will be Chapter 2: Solving Inequalities. In this unit, students will learn to write, solve, and graph inequalities that represent real-world situations. We’ll focus our attention on applying strategies for solving multi-step and compound inequalities. Students are going to love the challenge of solving these complex problems!
