Science - Explorers

We have had such a great start to the year! We kicked off the year with a fun STEM project where students designed and built their own pasta rovers and then tested how far their rovers could travel down a ramp. Students also had the opportunity to practice important lab safety skills during a hands-on lab where they made and explored oobleck!
We are now beginning our first unit of the year: Space! Students have been reading, participating in simulations about gravity and orbits, and learning about the role gravity plays here on Earth. We are excited to continue exploring space and learning more about the forces that shape our universe!
