We have had a terrific start to Chapter 9: Solving Quadratic Equations! In our first week of the unit, students learned how to simplify complex radical expressions. These skills include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing radical expressions. 

Our main focus in this chapter will be solving quadratic equations using a variety of methods: graphing, using square roots, completing the square, and using the quadratic formula. The students are going to love learning the Quadratic Formula song! 

The first quiz will cover simplifying radical expressions and will be on Tuesday, April 7th. The second quiz will cover solving quadratic equations using graphing, square roots, and factoring and will be on April 14th. The test will be Friday, April 24th. I love this unit, and I know the students will, too! Keep up the amazing work, Wildcats!
