Requirements for program admission

If you are a classified staff member selected to participate in this program, you….

Must provide verification of
- Successful background check
- AA or 2 years equivalent postsecondary education
Must provide commitment to
- Graduate from CSU, Chico with a bachelor’s degree
- Complete all the requirements for, and obtain, a Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist teaching credential.
- Complete one school year of classroom instruction in the school district, charter school, or county office of education for each year that they are in the program receiving assistance for attending CSU, Chico.
- Participate in mandatory program reporting requirements (e.g., surveys, progress monitoring)
