Milestone TOOLS
This page has tools all of the tools Candidates will need for each of their Milestones. Tools work best when downloaded as a Microsoft Word file. If you open the document with Google Docs or Sheets, select "Make a Copy" under "File" to edit the document.
MILESTONE 1
CASELOAD profile
This tool is used to analyze the Candidate's caseload (for Education Specialists). Either this tool or the Class Profile is submitted in Milestone 1.
Class profile
This tool is used to analyze the Candidate's class (Multiple & Single Subject). Either this tool or the Caseload Profile is submitted in Milestone 1.
Continuumcontinuum
This tool is used by Mentors to guide Candidates on reflecting upon their teaching practice within the 6 CSTP.
ILP
The signature tool utilized during Induction is the ILP, or Individual Learning Plan. This is completed collaboratively by the Candidate and their Mentor.
school profile
The School Profile is used to support the Candidate in understanding the resources available at their school and is a required conversation tool for Milestone 1.
STUDENT PROFILE
The Student Profile supports teachers in developing an understanding of the unique needs of individual students. This is an optional induction tool.
teacher profile
The Teacher Profile is used to support the Mentor in getting to know their Candidate. This is a required conversation tool for Milestone 1 and should be used during the first session.
triad guide
The Triad Meeting Tool supports Mentors in planning the Triad Meeting with the Candidate and their administrator. The topics listed should be addressed at the meeting.
MILESTONE 2, 3, 4 & 5
data analysis TOOL
The Data Analysis Tool supports the analysis of student data and may be adapted to fit a Candidate's instructional setting.
The Pre-Inquiry is completed in Milestones 2 & 4. The Post-Inquiry is completed in Milestones 3 & 5.
data analysis - SPED
This tool may be used by Education Specialists instead of the Data Analysis Tool.
