Adobe Flash

  • Adobe Flash is not supported on iPads and can not be used on these devices.

  • Adobe Flash will no longer be supported after December 31st, 2020 and will no longer be an option. Web-browsers block Adobe Flash by default and it will need to be enabled for each website using this technology. You can use the following guide to enable Flash for your web browser and platform.

Clever

  • When opening Clever if you get a blank white screen instead of the login page please do the following

    1. Double-press the home button to bring up the app switcher and close all apps by swiping them "up" off your iPad Screen

    2. Restart iPad

    3. Open Google Chrome & make sure you are able to access a webpage

    4. Tap the Clever icon again

Epic!

  • When using Epic! to find books for reading, there are a variety of ways to search for content, switch between book levels, and navigate the interface. Please take a few minutes to see an overview of these options with this video.

Everyday Math

  • To access everyday Math, please use this link. This will require the student to be signed in with their Google account. If there are multiple accounts signed in, be sure to select the glencoeschools.org account.

G-Mail

  • If you are having issues sending / receiving E-Mail on your iPad, please open Safari on your device, go to gmail.com, and use your school Google Account log in info to access E-Mail on the web.

iPads

  • The keyboard attached to the iPad has a magnetic sensor that may, at times, not reset when flipped down into a more traditional keyboard typing surface. If this happens, close the keyboard up to the screen, and then flip it back down to type on. If that does not work, please power off your device and power it back on. Watch a how-to video here.

  • If you have apps on your device appearing in a dark grey, tap the app to re-install. If this doesn't work, please restart your device.

  • If you are connected to a wireless network but unable to access any websites, please restart your device. If this doesn't work, please find the application called Relay Smart Agent and long-press on the application and choose the option cancel download if this is an option.

Schoology

  • Check Schoology Status

  • Schoology can be accessed via any web-browser by signing in at https://glencoe.schoology.com using your Glencoe Google Login credentials

  • If Schoology happens to be down and you need to join your class Zoom session, please use the link on your student iPad for the list of Zoom links

TCI / Social Studies

  • Online textbook and resources. This will require the student to be signed in with their Google account. If there are multiple accounts signed in, be sure to select the glencoeschools.org account.

Zoom

  • When joining a meeting if you are unable to join the meeting and just have a spinning progress indicator, double press the home button and quit out of Zoom to try again. If after doing this a second time, delete the Zoom app and re-install this through the Self Service application.
