Gifts to GBN

Each year, the GBN Athletic Directors give the coaches of the GBN athletic teams the opportunity to request a wishlist item. The requested items are reviewed by the Athletic Directors for approval, and a combined wishlist is presented to the GBN Booster Club Board for consideration for funding. In addition to the annual wishlist gifts, the GBN Booster Club supports larger projects that often require several years of fundraising, such as the recently completed turf stadium.

The GBN Booster Club is proud to support the needs of all athletic teams on an equal basis without regard to the number of participants or the number of spectators drawn by the sport.

Recent facility improvements

The GBN Booster Club was thrilled to donate a brand new LED screen to the William Lutz Stadium. This new screen will enhance every sporting event on that field by delivering game-day excitement through videos, visual up to date information, and recognition of our valued Booster Club sponsors.

The Booster Club donated another outdoor scoreboard, serving our Girls Varsity Softball field, as well as provide funding to supplement the installation of a new and improved sound system in the main gym. Both of these improvements to our athletic facilities will provide an enhanced spectator experience for our GBN students and families!

Scholarships Awarded May 2026

Each year, the GBN Booster Club is honored to recognize outstanding senior athletes with $750 scholarships, chosen by the GBN Athletic Department. Eligible students are those whose families have been Booster Club members during their time at GBN.

These awards are presented at the Booster Club Senior Banquet, where we proudly celebrate the achievements of our student‑athletes. Congratulations to our five 2026 scholarship recipients.

The GBN Booster Club Garry Denk Memorial Award honors a student whose leadership, kindness, humility, and quiet confidence reflect the qualities that made Garry such a beloved parent, coach, and alum. Through selfless service, resilience, and a genuine commitment to uplifting the GBN community, this student builds a meaningful legacy that carries Garry Denk’s spirit forward.  This $1,500 scholarship was awarded to:
