** Practice counting out loud to your parent as high as you can go (try to get all the way to 100!).
**Help a neighbor, friend or family member with cleanup or do a good deed for someone.
Hi students - If you are at home for school today, it doesn't mean you have to be sedentary. Here are some ideas for exercise you can do inside. If you can get outside to play, that is even better!!
Remember 1 hour of exercise a day is good for your body.
Ideas:
Build an obstacle course
What can you jump over?
What can you crawl under?
Add 5 jumping jacks
Add 5 pushups
Make a scavenger hunt in the house
Have someone hide objects for others to find. You can even draw a map.
Make up a workout
Here is a sample
10 jumping jacks
10 squats (pretend like you are sitting down and then stand up)
5 push ups
15 sit ups
(if you have stairs) - go up and down the stairs 3 times
Run in place for 30 seconds
