Snow Day Assignments
Below you will find a list of your child’s online activities for today's Snow Day. The assignments on this page are meant to replace in-school instruction.
*All assignments should be completed within 5 days of student's return to school*
Reading
1. Listen to the video below to learn this week's heart words. Then practice each heart word by pressing the arrow to go through each slide.
2. Watch the videos below. The first one will teach about Syllable Stomping and Whale Talking words to figure out how many syllables are in each word. The second video is a song about the Rabbit Rule, which is a strategy you can use to read words that have two syllables that are closed syllables. The third video show how to break words apart using the Rabbit Rule.
3.Practice reading!
