I have taught for a total of 9 years in both third and fourth grade classrooms.

I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 2012.

My master's degree is in Reading Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington.

In high school and college, I played tennis at Horizon and Scottsdale Community College.

I earned my Eagle Scout at age 16 and love camping and hiking in the woods.

My wife's name is Cody and my son, Graham, just turned fours year old. We are expecting our second child in April of 2021.

My favorite sports teams are the Phoenix Suns and Manchester City Football Club (soccer team in England).
