Hi there! I’m Mrs. Rucker (Latimore), the K-6 Reading Resource teacher at Harris Elementary!

I’m so excited to be part of your child’s learning journey! With six wonderful years in the Harris Elementary community, I’ve developed a true passion for helping young minds grow, especially when it comes to reading and learning in creative ways.

I graduated from Arizona State University in December 2022 with my degree in general and special education—and even though college is behind me, I truly believe the best learning happens right inside the classroom!

A little about me: I recently married my amazing husband this past July and he’s currently studying special education at GCU—so we’re a big teacher family!

I can’t wait for a great year full of books, laughter, growth, and lots of learning fun!
