About the Instructor...

Chris Askew received his bachelors degree in Industrial Technology and the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Arizona State University. Mr Askew has been teaching Cabinetry for 23 years, the past 18 at Highland High.

Welcome WEEK 2 of online learning...

I will be holding our SECOND Webex meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 following a school bell schedule...

1st hour 11:00 - 11:25

2nd hour 11:30 - 11:55

3rd hour 12:00 - 12:25

4th hour 12:30 - 12:55

5th hour 1:00 - 1:25

6th hour 1:30 - 1:55

7th hour 2:00 - 2:25

Students will receive the invitation to the Webex meeting through google classroom.

This will be our 2nd Webex.

Attendance was a bit soft during the first meeting, I would love to see more people join in for a visit this week

The meeting will take about 10-15 minutes

The first assignment has been slowly getting completed.

This weeks assignment will challenge your measuring abilities. (online of course)

Don't worry I'm not going to pile on the work... the only place your grade can go is up.

My office hours are Tuesday and Thursday 11-3 (although I am at my laptop daily and here if you need something)

PROJECTS...

Rest assured all projects will find their way home some day. All projects are safely locked up and will be there when ever we are able to go back to school.

All class work will be done through Google Classroom after our first meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. All work assigned will help increase the students grade, at this time your student can make up missing assignments and get them turned in. You can check Infinite campus for missing work.
