About Ms. Audrey Hartson MacDonald
Hello! My name is Ms. MacDonald and I teach 5th and 6th Grade Strings.
I grew up in Port Huron, Michigan, where I was surrounded by the Great Lakes. I went to Central Michigan University for my undergraduate degrees in Child Development and Music, and then went to the University of Oklahoma for my Master's degree in Music Education.
I began playing the violin when I was in first grade and haven't stopped since! I have learned many more instruments along the way, and my favorite thing about being a musician is getting to play and perform with other people.
Outside of school, I love to read books, play board games with my husband, take my puppy, Appa, for walks, and run my Etsy shop.
