Special Areas

Mrs. Hedquist grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin.  She enjoys making music, baking, reading, and building Legos in her spare time.  She loves visiting Disneyland, and is a Marvel fan of Rocket and Thor!  She enjoys getting breakfast at Snooze, and hanging with her cure cat, Dizzy.  Her favorite music is the Beatles, and she enjoys reading historical fiction.

Mrs. Kelley grew up in Apache Junction.  She spends her free time teaching private music lessons, and watching TV with her family.  She has two Shitzu's named Henry and Teddy.  She enjoys vacationing in Europe, Northern Arizona, and anywhere near a beach. She loves Mexican food, Chili's or Fuzzy Taco are her go to places.  She is a fan of Captain America and is always listening to Queen, the Beatles, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Elton John, etc. Outside of the classroom, she has directed a Handbell Choir at a church in Mesa. She is also the Chair for Area 11 of Handbell Musicians of America which oversees Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Colorado. She teaches private voice lessons from my home music studio. She often works with different handbell and vocal choirs around the valley. She loves to sing, dance, and spread music to our students at Greenfield Elementary School! Her teaching philosophy is that she wants to inspire others as she has been inspired--through music! 

Ms. Bowen - Band

Mrs. Meaux grew up in cold and snowy Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Of course her favorite place to vacation is anywhere with a warm beach! She enjoys Oregano's, The Lorax by Dr. Seuss and Luke Bryan.  She's a Spider-Man fan too.  She has two dogs Willow and Callie.  She spends her free time biking, reading, and spending time with her family.  She is also an amazing DIYer.

Mrs. Saiz grew up in San Jose, California.  She spends her free time shopping and going to car shows!  She loves to visit Strawberry and Pine.  She has a chow chow named Ivy.  Her favorite superhero is Mystique from X-Men. She enjoys a good meal at Coopers Hawk.  She read Girl Wash Your Face and is a fan of Chris Stapleton, Trish Toledo, and Las Calakas.

Mr. Wright grew up in Glendale, Arizona.  He enjoys mountain biking and playing golf in his free time.  When he vacations he enjoys going to new places and seeing new things.  He is a fan of Mexican and BBQ, read Lee Child, and listens to Bailey Zimmerman.  His favorite superhero is Iron Man.
