Mrs. Black grew up in Mesa, Arizona. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going out to eat, shopping, listening to audio books, and cheering on her kids. Her family - John, and kids, Brody and Brynlee - are just her favorite people. They have two dogs named Stella and Nash, and a tortoise named Turbo. The beach is her favorite, however, she recently went to Europe with her daughter and her dance studio, and that trip was amazing! She enjoys Mexican food, or sushi, and thinks Spider-Man is the best superhero. She likes lots of different music, but the last concert she went to was Noah Kahan, with her daughter and friends. It was so much fun!
Mr. McGee grew up in Zion, Illinois and Mesa, Az. He has 2 dogs. One is a shepherd mix named Benji and the other is a Collie mix named Bailey. He enjoys cooking while listening to Harry Styles but if he gets a chance to eat out he loves Canes! Hawaii is his favorite vacation spot and his favorite book is Queens Gambit by Walter Tevis.

Ms. Montgomery is the mother to 3 very active fun kids. Her oldest is Paige who is a junior at Highland. Her twins John and Claire are in 5th grade here at Greenfield. She loves to watch anything that they participate in and they keep her very busy! She grew up in Pasadena, Ca and she loves to vacation in McCall, Idaho. In her free time she enjoys reading and playing pickle ball and her favorite musical artist is Justin Timberlake. Another fun fact about Ms. Montgomery is she loves all things ASU and is a diehard Sun Devil fan!

Mrs. Jost is originally from a small town in California called Arroyo Grande located near San Luis Obispo, on the Central Coast. In 2003 she received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She then went on to earn her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University in 2005. She moved to Arizona in 2006 to begin teaching in Gilbert. In 2020 she joined the faculty at Gilbert Global Academy and taught virtual 2nd, 4th, & 5th grades. She is married and has two daughters. She also has two really awesome dogs (a husky and a dachshund) and a cool cat. As for what she likes to do in her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, as well as traveling, reading, yoga, cycling, and spending time with friends and family. Teaching is not just her job, it is her passion and her joy!
Mrs. Fagan graduated from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils) with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. This will be her 10th year teaching 6th grade math. She spent the last 9 years teaching in the Tempe Elementary School District. She loves teaching and making positive and meaningful connections with her students just as her teachers made with her when she was in elementary school. Her husband and her have a 2 year old son, Nolan, and two dogs Zuc and Remi. She loves exploring the Arizona outdoors whether that is camping or hiking with her family. She is a huge New York Rangers and Giants fan. She will also help cheer on the Golden State Warriors with her husband. She enjoys Taco Tuesdays, Dr. Pepper, and watching the Food Network. She looks forward to the upcoming school year!
Ms. Ortiz grew up in Gilbert, Arizona. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside in the great outdoors. Her favorite vacation spot is Rocky Point. Her favorite book is the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. She enjoys listening to Post Malone, enjoying some food at Cane's and Black Rock, and Iron Man is her favorite super hero. She hopes to give her students the same experience she had while going through school herself. A classroom is a place for students to feel eager to learn. Her goal is to create a loving and accepting family like environment for her students!
