Second Grade

Mrs. Garcia is a Texas Girl born and raised until she moved to Arizona a decade ago, but she still likes to visit her home state as much as possible. She has a Maltese Yorkie named Sherlock and about 35 chickens. She enjoys gardening and crafting and spending time with her family. When she gets to take a vacation her favorite place to visit is Hawaii, but Disneyland is closer and really is the happiest place on Earth, so she and her family try to go there often. Mrs. Garcia loves to try new restaurants but her favorite right now is the Cheesecake Factory. She also loves all types of music but she is a Texas Girl after all so Country music is her most listened to. When she gets some down time her perfect evening would be a drive around town with her family and listening to some great tunes.

Mrs. Frost loves animals but only has a fish named Todd right now as her family lost their puggle Bella last year and they are not ready to get another one yet. She grew up in Southern California in the Santa Clarita Valley very close to Six Flags and Magic Mountain. Mrs. Frost lived so close to Six Flags she got to work as an operator there when she was in high school. One of Mrs. Frost's favorite things to do is travel and because the world is such a beautiful place she has tried to visit as many places as she can. Her favorite places to visit so far are Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terre in Italy, Scotland and Greece but anywhere with a beach would also do just fine. Her favorite superhero is Captain America because he is obviously the best! When she gets a night in, her perfect evening would be spending time with her family getting some Mexican food from Carolinas and then curling up with a good Dystopia. Her favorite right now is "Legend" by Marie Lu.

Mrs. Mitchell is an Arizona native, born and raised, but does enjoy getting away to California and the beach! She loves tacos, and her superhero is the Hulk because he is strong and fearless! She enjoys shopping at Target, working out, and spending time with her family.  90s R&B is her jam, and her favorite book is The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in early childhood and special education, and this will be her fifth year teaching kindergarten. A fun fact about her is that she used to play basketball! She still loves the game of basketball and finds herself around it all the time. I loves to teach, and believes it's such a wonderful gift that she gets to share! 

Mrs. Sandoval was born in Illinois but moved to Arizona when she was five so she considers Arizona home. She has one dog, a Rottweiler, named Kane who she loves to hangout with. Her favorite hobbies are exploring new places and watching her step sons play hockey and soccer. When she vacations she enjoys visiting family in Illinois and the Florida Beaches. She loves to relax at home with her family and her favorite food is Mexican and Italian. Her favorite superhero is Spiderman!
