Mr. Puchi is a native of Arizona and a graduate from Mountain Pointe High School. He left Arizona to swim on scholarship at Oakland University in Michigan, then finished up his undergraduate degree in Finance at Arizona State University. He worked in the banking industry for a handful of years before returning to school to get his K-12 education certification and Master's degree in K-12 from NAU. This year will be his 20th year in teaching, all in Gilbert Public Schools. It will also be his 8th year at Greenfield Elementary, having worked there for 7 years before a 2 year stint at Highland Park Elementary. He is returning to Greenfield because he is amazingly excited to have the opportunity to work as the gifted teacher. It has been a goal of his for a very long time to work as a gifted instructor on an elementary campus, they don't come available very often however. To align that goal with an elementary campus like Greenfield is pretty much a dream come true. He has a mother and a sister who are also residents of Arizona, and a son (a former Greenfield Gator) who will be a freshman at Williams Field high school this year (very exciting). His hobbies are swimming, biking, and running. He also enjoys teaching and learning which he considers hobbies as well, even though they are also his job.
