Mrs. Crabb grew up in Georgia, and we love to listen to her accent! She enjoys working out, specifically at 5am (if you need a workout buddy), and to read. Her favorite stories are the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. Enjoys North, Cooper's Hawk and is a poke fan! She likes to spend her time at the lake while on vacation and thinks the Hulk is the best superhero. She enjoys listening to Hozier, an Irish musician.
Mrs. Haws - social worker
Mrs. Johns was born in California but grew up in Arizona. She has two golden retrievers, a cat and three African Spurred tortoises. She enjoys boating, gardening, and being outdoors. She loves spending time on the water, so any cruise or boating trip would be ideal. Spending time on a houseboat with her family at Lake Powell would be the perfect vacation! Her favorite foods are sushi at Raw, or a good steak at the Keg. Her favorite superhero is Spider-Man because he is relatable and shows that anyone can be a hero no matter their background. She enjoys his unique blend of humor and heart. She prefers listening to Zach Williams, an American Christian rock artist. Her favorite book is Love you Forever by Robert Munsch since she read it to her three children often as they were growing up. They are now all adults and she can't wait to read it to her future grandchildren! Her favorite quote is "Begin each day with a grateful heart", which helps her to stay focused on all the good around her.
Mrs. Kenney grew up in West Deptford, New Jersey. She has a miniature dachshund named Olive. She's a dance mom, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. However, give her some time away and she will go anywhere there is a nice beach to relax on. She also enjoys going to Steak 44 for a delicious steak, or North for chicken parm. She may not have a specific favorite music artist, but you can definitely find her enjoying all the genres! Her superheroes are the real kind - her parents!

Mrs. Myers has two sons and 3 grandchildren. She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky but spent most of her childhood in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. She does not have a pet right now but she does have grand-pets, a German Shepard and a Husky. She has had miniature schnauzers in the past and is thinking she may need another soon. Her favorite thing to do is spending time with family taking walks or helping decorate or with DIY projects. When she gets to vacation she loves to go to Glacier National Park where she and her husband can explore the trails or go white water rafting. When she gets some down time at the end of the day she enjoys listening to For King and Country and reading historical fiction and her favorite author is Mesu Andrews. Wonder Woman would be her favorite superhero because of her desire for the truth.

Mrs. Stevenson has two little dogs named Milo and Sebastian. She is an Oilers fan, and enjoys attending games, as well as, traveling and crafting. She grew up in cold Minnesota but has spent much of her adult life in sunny AZ. Some of her favorites are Yacht Rock music, Boca Taquerio, and vacationing at the beach! She thinks Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy is the best superhero. She believes in the motto, "we can do hard things!"
Mrs. Evans - Speech
Mrs. Pettit grew up in southern Oregon and enjoys time at the beach or in the mountains. She has three zany dogs. Big Ed- a10 yr old Goldendoodle, Bernadette a 6 year old Bernese Mountain Dog, and Kevin a 1 1/2 year old Labradoodle. She spends her weekend at the baseball fields with her son, or watching her daughter dance. Tacos from Boca Taquerio, Zach Bryan music, and Wonder by R.J. Palacio are some of her favorites. She also is a Spider-Man fan. She is excited to begin her 20th year in education!
Mr. Puchi is a native of Arizona and a graduate from Mountain Pointe High School. He left Arizona to swim on scholarship at Oakland University in Michigan, then finished up his undergraduate degree in Finance at Arizona State University. He worked in the banking industry for a handful of years before returning to school to get his K-12 education certification and Master's degree in K-12 from NAU. This year will be the start of his second decade in teaching, all in Gilbert Public Schools. It will also be his 9th year at Greenfield Elementary, having worked there for 7 years before a 2 year stint at Highland Park Elementary. He returned to Greenfield because he was amazingly excited to have the opportunity to work as the gifted teacher. It had been a goal of his for a very long time to work as a gifted instructor on an elementary campus, they don't come available very often however. To align that goal with an elementary campus like Greenfield was pretty much a dream come true. He has a mother and a sister who are also residents of Arizona, and a son (a former Greenfield Gator) who will be a sophomore at Williams Field High School. His hobbies are swimming, biking, and running. He also enjoys teaching and learning which he considers hobbies as well, even though they are also his job.
Mrs. Van Volkinburgh grew up in cold Minnesota, but her favorite place to visit is warm and sunny Sedona. She has four dogs at home that keep her pretty busy when she's not reading or doing yoga. She sees Mother Theresa as a superhero with her kind and gentle spirit. She enjoys a good meal at Portello's. Juan Gabriel is her favorite music artist, and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is her favorite book.
